Stenton Avenue Closure Could Snarl Traffic in Whitemarsh

WHITEMARSH TWP, PA — Drivers in Springfield and Whitemarsh townships should prepare for daytime road closures this week as PennDOT crews replace a pipe along Stenton Avenue.

Stenton Avenue will be closed to through traffic between Bethlehem Pike and Joshua Road during daytime work hours while crews complete pipe replacement operations.

Drivers will be directed to use Bethlehem Pike, Route 73 (Skippack Pike/Church Road), and Joshua Road to move around the closure.

Motorists traveling through the area should plan extra time and expect delays as traffic is diverted onto surrounding roadways.

PennDOT noted that all scheduled construction activities are weather dependent and may change if conditions require.
