PHILADELPHIA, PA — A major shift is coming to South Philadelphia’s sports and entertainment landscape. Stateside Brands announced that Xfinity Live!, the popular entertainment destination at the heart of the Philadelphia Sports Complex, will soon be renamed Stateside Live!. The name change, expected to take effect in the fall of 2025, reflects a new naming rights partnership negotiated by Goldwater Enterprises and signals a deepening connection between the venue and one of Pennsylvania’s fastest-growing spirits brands.

Located between Lincoln Financial Field, Citizens Bank Park, and the newly renamed Xfinity Mobile Arena, the venue is operated by The Cordish Companies’ Live! Hospitality & Entertainment division. With the transition to Stateside Live!, the company is doubling down on its investment in Philadelphia’s thriving entertainment scene.

Stateside’s Rapid Rise

Founded in 2015 by brothers Matt and Bryan Quigley and Clement and Zach Pappas, Stateside Vodka has grown from a Kensington-based craft distillery into one of Pennsylvania’s leading spirits brands. Its flagship vodka, which earned a Double Gold Medal at the 2024 San Francisco World Spirits Competition, is now distributed in 32 states.

In addition to its vodka, Stateside Brands produces Surfside Iced Teas and Lemonades, which industry publication IMPACT Databank recently identified as the fastest-growing spirits brand worldwide.

“Our roots are in Philadelphia, and especially in Philly sports,” said Matt Quigley, president and co-founder of Stateside Brands. “This naming rights partnership is a full-circle moment for us after years of building our following one tailgate and one game at a time.”

Venue Expansion and Future Plans

The renaming comes as Live! begins a $20 million expansion designed to transform the venue into a premier entertainment destination. Enhancements to the Live! plaza will include:

  • A two-story VIP building with an upscale rooftop oasis
  • A central stage for concerts and events
  • An upgraded turf area for activities and community events
  • Public art installations integrated throughout the plaza

According to Tony Monaco, vice president of operations for Live! Hospitality & Entertainment, the partnership aligns perfectly with the venue’s vision. “Stateside is a quality brand with a deep connection to Philadelphia,” Monaco said. “Together, we’ll continue delivering a world-class hospitality and entertainment experience for our millions of annual guests.”

The facility will remain fully operational during construction, which is scheduled for completion in 2026 — just in time for a historic year in Philadelphia. That year, the city will host events tied to America’s 250th birthday, the FIFA World Cup, and the Major League Baseball All-Star Game, making the upgraded Stateside Live! a centerpiece of the celebrations.

With this partnership, Stateside Brands cements its role as a local success story while boosting Philadelphia’s reputation as a premier destination for entertainment, sports, and nightlife.
