LANCASTER, PA — The Lancaster Stormers have announced the return of standout pitchers Max Green and Noah Bremer for the 2025 season, solidifying their rotation with two of the Atlantic League’s top performers from last year. Both pitchers earned 2024 Atlantic League All-Star honors and shared the league’s Co-Starter of the Year title alongside York Revolution’s Jon Olsen.
Green, a 28-year-old left-hander, delivered an exceptional 2024 campaign, leading the league with 12 wins and maintaining a 4.35 ERA. Over 20 starts, he struck out 124 batters across 120 innings while holding opponents to 125 hits. Green became a key part of the team’s success after joining the rotation over Memorial Day Weekend, with the Stormers winning 15 of his 20 starts. His performance included seven quality starts and an appearance in Game Four of the Division Series against York Revolution.
“Green has great stuff and got a lot of interest from Major League organizations this past offseason,” said Manager Ross Peeples. “We hope he can grow from last year and continue to get better.”
Bremer, 29, also made a significant impact in 2024. The former University of Washington ace wrapped up the season as one of the league’s most reliable arms, boasting a 10-7 record with a 4.06 ERA and 132 strikeouts. He ranked among the league’s best in several categories, finishing tied for fourth in wins, third in ERA, and second in strikeouts. Bremer, who joined the rotation in May, recorded highlights such as throwing five no-hit innings against Staten Island’s FerryHawks and a strong showing in Game One of the Division Series.
“Bremer was one of our best pitchers last year,” Peeples said. “He competes and keeps us in pretty much every game he pitches.”
The Stormers’ manager is optimistic about the duo’s return, as both pitchers played key roles in the team’s 2024 success. Fans can look forward to seeing them back on the mound as the team continues its efforts to dominate the Atlantic League.
The Stormers are currently on a six-game road trip in Staten Island but will return home to Clipper Magazine Stadium on Tuesday, June 3, to face the Hagerstown Flying Boxcars. First pitch is set for 6:45 p.m.
