DOYLESTOWN, PA — SMB Franchise Advisors has appointed Josh Cohen as executive director and franchise coach as the firm expands its advisory team, the company announced.
Cohen previously founded The Junkluggers while in college, growing the business from a single truck into a national franchise brand.
He later worked with SMB Franchise Advisors to scale the company before joining the firm in his new role.
“Franchising thrives on strong, long-term partnerships. The relationship-driven culture at SMB Franchise Advisors resonated with me when I was a client and drew me back in for this next chapter,” Cohen said in a statement.
In his new position, Cohen will advise emerging brands and business owners exploring franchising, drawing on his experience as a founder.
“Josh represents the values we pride ourselves on at SMB: sharing deep industry knowledge, doing what’s right, and being passionate and impactful for the success of our franchise family,” President and Chief Executive Officer Steve Beagelman said in a statement.
SMB Franchise Advisors, founded in 2009, works with small and mid-sized businesses seeking to launch or expand franchise operations. The firm said it has worked with more than 600 brand founders and is a member of the International Franchise Association.
