SEI Strengthens Leadership Team to Support Growth in Investment Managers Business

OAKS, PA — SEI® (NASDAQ: SEIC) has announced two high-profile leadership appointments within its Investment Managers business, reinforcing the company’s focus on addressing evolving client needs and driving operational growth. Sean Lawlor has been promoted to Senior Vice President and Head of SEI’s Traditional Investment Managers business, while Lori Wayne steps into the role of Head of Client Services and Relationship Management.

Sean Lawlor will direct SEI’s U.S.-based traditional investment manager business development strategy, which includes overseeing sales, relationship management, and client services. His responsibilities also span the operations, financial reporting, and tax teams. Lawlor joined SEI in June 2024 after leading Solutions Distribution at Envestnet, where he managed exchanges and data platforms. Beginning his career at eMoney Advisor, he played a key role in the company’s corporate development and backed its acquisition by Fidelity in 2015.

Lori Wayne, a 23-year veteran of SEI, will focus on expanding client service models, strengthening relationships with traditional investment managers, and identifying growth opportunities aligned with the company’s future strategy. Her tenure at SEI includes leadership in strategic financial direction for the Investment Managers business, as well as expertise in operations, client service, and business management across various SEI entities. Wayne will report directly to Lawlor in her new role.
