WILMINGTON, DE — Second Front Systems said ten of its existing software customers are now positioned to deploy on the forthcoming AWS European Sovereign Cloud, using the company’s 2F Game Warden platform to navigate the region’s growing regulatory demands.
The move follows Second Front’s September announcement that Game Warden would serve as an onboarding pathway to the new cloud environment. The company said independent software vendors face increasing complexity as European governments adopt tougher security and data-residency rules, including Germany’s C5 standard and the EU’s DORA and NIS2 directives.
By using Game Warden, vendors can inherit pre-built security and compliance controls, allowing them to reduce time to market while maintaining full data residency inside EU borders. Chief Mission Officer Mamie Cruse said customers are “leaning into ESC” as they prepare for expansion across Europe.
To support the compliance component, Second Front works with SecureIT, a cybersecurity advisory firm specializing in enterprise and public-sector cloud requirements. SecureIT CEO David Trout said the company’s clients align closely with what European buyers are seeking from advanced software providers.
The first wave of companies ready to deploy once the cloud becomes available in 2026 spans AI, autonomy, security, analytics, and defense technology. They include:
Accrete, an AI developer that builds expert analytical agents for government and commercial decision-making.
Avathon, which delivers industrial autonomy through AI-driven decision intelligence tools.
Blank Slate, a cognitive-performance platform used by U.S. Special Operations and Air Force pilots.
Cohere, a security-focused enterprise AI firm offering customizable foundation models and deployment options across cloud and on-premise environments.
DEFCON AI, which produces simulation and optimization tools for modeling complex systems and anticipating network disruptions.
Ethos Systems, a unified readiness platform combining training, performance assessment, and real-time analytics for large organizations.
Jericho Security, a cybersecurity company specializing in AI-powered spearphishing and deepfake-threat simulations.
Pryzm, an AI operating system built for federal acquisition workflows, integrating market intelligence and program tracking.
Research Innovations Inc., whose software supports defense, intelligence, and cyber missions, including joint targeting and electronic warfare solutions.
Second Front said the early adopters reflect a growing need among U.S. vendors to reach European buyers without navigating compliance alone. The company expects demand to build as ESC becomes operational and more governments adopt strict data-sovereignty requirements.
