CHESTER, PA — Schmidt Industrial Services LLC recently acquired Metal & Cable Corp, expanding its capabilities in metal fabrication, precision machining, and specialty metal sourcing across telecommunications and energy markets.
The acquisition adds Metal & Cable’s magnetic mounting systems, including its Magnemount product line, to Schmidt Industrial’s portfolio. The systems are widely used in telecommunications infrastructure.
Schmidt Industrial will continue manufacturing and supporting the Magnemount line following the acquisition, maintaining existing product standards and customer relationships.
Metal & Cable also provides specialty metal sourcing for energy and power sectors, which Schmidt Industrial plans to integrate into its broader engineering and fabrication services.
“This acquisition represents a significant step forward in our growth strategy,” said CEO Brian Santana, citing the alignment between the companies’ product lines and technical capabilities.
President Dave Tennett said the integration will enhance the company’s ability to deliver engineered solutions and support customers across project lifecycles.
Metal & Cable founder David Klein will remain involved as an advisor during the transition.
