PHILADELPHIA, PASow Good Now, a youth sports philanthropy nonprofit, will partner with the Saint Joseph Preparatory School soccer team to host the first annual Soccer GiveBack for children from the Gesu School on Sunday, October 12, 2025. The event will be held from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Saint Joseph Prep’s campus on West Girard Avenue.

The initiative will bring forty children, ages eight to twelve, together with high school athletes for free soccer instruction and mentorship. The goal is to expand access to organized sports for local youth while building community through teamwork and leadership.

Sow Good Now has been connecting student-athletes with youth across Philadelphia, Chester, and Delaware Counties since 2018. The nonprofit uses sports as a platform to inspire generosity, promote mentorship, and encourage young people to make a positive impact both on and off the field.

Through the Soccer GiveBack, Saint Joseph Prep student-athletes will share their skills and experience with children who have had limited exposure to structured athletic programs, providing both training and encouragement in a supportive environment.
