KING OF PRUSSIA, PA — Mortgage technology firm Sagent has partnered with the Idaho Housing and Finance Association (IHFA) to implement Dara Claims, a new platform designed to streamline claims processing and reinvest savings into affordable housing programs.
Sagent CEO Geno Paluso called the agreement “a breakthrough in how technology can help address America’s home affordability crisis,” noting that automating claims reduces operational costs, recovers more servicing expenses, and enables reinvestment into housing initiatives.
The implementation — completed in under 60 days — marks the first deployment of Dara Claims. The system integrates with IHFA’s existing servicing records, connects with multiple investors, and manages a broad range of claim types.
“Our mission is to expand access to housing in Idaho, so any viable solution must handle a wide range of claim types and connect to a variety of investors,” said Chuck Kracht, executive vice president at IHFA. “Dara by Sagent’s Claims capabilities let us move away from manual processing, reduce costs and recovery times, and put those savings back into the programs that enable housing opportunities in Idaho and the other state agencies we serve.”
Sagent said the technology is aimed at helping servicers cut unreimbursed loan losses and strengthen compliance, positioning Dara Claims as a core part of its end-to-end servicing platform.
