PennDOT said crews will begin pipe work next week, with short-term lane restrictions in place under flagging during daytime hours. Traffic will be maintained, but drivers should be prepared for brief stoppages.
No detour is currently in place. However, officials said a temporary detour will be required later during paving operations near a business at the northern end of the project. Details on that detour will be announced ahead of time.

Motorists should remain alert in the work zone, expect delays during active construction hours, and plan extra time when traveling through the area.
