Route 29 Closure Scheduled for Road Repairs in New Hanover Township

NEW HANOVER TWP, PA — The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) announced that Route 29 (Gravel Pike) will close next week in New Hanover Township, Montgomery County, for roadway repair.

From Monday, September 29, through Thursday, October 2, the road will be closed between Palm Hill Road and Tollgate Road from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM daily. Motorists will be detoured via Palm Hill Road, Bethesda Church Road, Kutztown Road, Route 100 (Main Street), and Tollgate Road. Local access will be permitted up to the construction area.
