Route 29 Closure Planned for Road Repairs in Upper Hanover Township

UPPER HANOVER TWP, PA — The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) announced that Route 29 (Gravel Pike) will close in Upper Hanover Township, Montgomery County, for roadway repair beginning Monday, September 29.

From September 29 through Thursday, October 2, the roadway will be closed weekdays from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM between Palm Hill Road and Tollgate Road. Traffic will be detoured via Palm Hill Road, Bethesda Church Road, Kutztown Road, Route 100 (Main Street), and Tollgate Road.

Local access will be maintained, but motorists should expect delays and allow extra time when traveling through or near the work zone. All activities are weather dependent.
