PHILADELPHIA, PA — Just in time for Halloween, Rita’s Italian Ice & Frozen Custard is casting a spell on its menu with the launch of Witches’ Brew-Berry Italian Ice, a limited-edition flavor available through November 2. The seasonal offering blends sweet berry notes with a touch of candy-inspired nostalgia for a festive treat that captures the spirit of the season.
The Witches’ Brew-Berry line comes in two variations. The Witches’ Brew-Berry Gelati layers creamy Vanilla Frozen Custard with the new Italian Ice flavor and tops it with colorful, tangy NERDS® candy. For those who prefer their treats blended, the Witches’ Brew-Berry Ice Blender transforms the same ingredients into a smooth, sippable creation, also crowned with NERDS®.

Rita’s, the world’s largest Italian Ice concept, continues to lean on seasonal innovation and nostalgia to drive customer engagement. The company, known for making its Italian Ice fresh daily in-store, offers more than 80 rotating flavors and a variety of frozen desserts including Gelati, Concretes, Milkshakes, and Frozen Coffee.
Customers can find the Witches’ Brew-Berry lineup at participating locations nationwide while supplies last. To sweeten the deal, Rita’s encourages guests to join its mobile loyalty program, offering a free small treat after their first purchase through the Rita’s Ice app.
Many Rita’s locations will remain open beyond the Halloween season, with year-round stores continuing operations and seasonal locations closing on or after October 12. Guests are advised to check local store hours directly.
