During the closure, drivers will be directed to use Front Street, Oregon Avenue, and Columbus Boulevard to reach the ramp to northbound I-95.
Motorists traveling in the area should plan extra time and expect delays along the detour route and surrounding streets as traffic adjusts to the closure.
The work is part of a $56.1 million project to repair interstate bridges and ramps along the corridor. Crews will repair bridge decks and structural steel, replace expansion joints, upgrade roadway lighting to LED fixtures, and repaint overhead sign structures.
PennDOT noted that all scheduled construction activities are weather dependent and may be adjusted if conditions require.
