MEDIA, PA — Healthcare Administrative Partners said it has added Summit Radiology of Fort Wayne, Indiana, to its client roster, marking the company’s first expansion into the Indiana market as radiology practices increasingly turn to specialized partners to manage complex revenue cycles.
Summit Radiology is the largest full-service diagnostic and interventional radiology group in northeast and central Indiana, providing services across more than 40 outpatient and hospital-based locations. Under the agreement, Healthcare Administrative Partners, known as HAP, will manage the practice’s full suite of revenue cycle operations, including billing, coding, payer credentialing, business intelligence, and MIPS measure assurance.
The partnership reflects growing financial and administrative pressures on radiology groups as reimbursement models evolve and regulatory requirements intensify. By outsourcing revenue cycle management, practices aim to protect cash flow, improve compliance, and allow physicians to focus on clinical care rather than back-office operations.
Summit Radiology Chief Executive Officer Fran Eviston said the group selected HAP after evaluating multiple vendors, citing the firm’s depth of experience, exclusive focus on radiology, and team-based service model. He said those factors distinguished HAP from competitors and aligned with Summit’s operational priorities.
Healthcare Administrative Partners Chief Revenue Officer Rebecca Farrington said the company views revenue cycle management as more than a transactional service. She said HAP’s approach is to integrate closely with client practices, functioning as an extension of their internal teams to drive long-term financial performance and operational stability.
For HAP, the addition of Summit Radiology represents both geographic expansion and validation of its niche strategy. Radiology practices face unique billing, coding, and compliance challenges, and demand for specialized revenue cycle expertise has accelerated as margins tighten across the healthcare sector.
The companies said the partnership is expected to support Summit Radiology’s continued growth while establishing Healthcare Administrative Partners’ footprint in Indiana, positioning the firm for further expansion in the Midwest.
