CONSHOHOCKEN, PA — Quaker Houghton (NYSE: KWR) has been named one of America’s Most Responsible Companies for a third straight year, earning repeat recognition as environmental, social, and governance standards play a growing role in how investors and customers assess industrial firms.
The designation, presented by Newsweek in partnership with research firm Statista, evaluated the top 2,000 publicly traded U.S. companies and ranked the top 600 across 14 industry categories. Companies were assessed using publicly available ESG data drawn from sustainability reports, along with the results of an independent perception survey.
Chief Executive Officer and President Joe Berquist said the recognition reflects sustained investment in corporate responsibility and the company’s broader operating discipline. He said the firm’s approach is rooted in delivering strong results for customers while advancing measurable progress across environmental and social priorities.
Quaker Houghton is the global leader in industrial process fluids, supplying specialized solutions to customers in steel, aluminum, automotive, aerospace, mining, offshore, and metalworking industries. The company operates in more than 25 countries and employs approximately 4,400 people worldwide, including chemists, engineers, and technical specialists.
The company said its focus on high-performing and sustainable solutions, supported by proprietary technology and deep process expertise, has helped position it as a long-term partner to manufacturers seeking efficiency gains amid tighter regulatory and cost pressures.
The latest recognition comes as ESG performance continues to factor more heavily into capital allocation decisions, placing additional emphasis on transparency, operational accountability, and long-term value creation across the industrial sector.
