Qlik Launches AI-Powered Forecasting to Transform Business Decision-Making

Qlik Technologies

PHILADELPHIA, PAQlik® announced the general availability of its Multivariate Time Series (MVTS) capability in Qlik Predict™, bringing GPU-accelerated, explainable forecasting to Qlik Cloud®. First previewed at Qlik Connect® earlier this year, MVTS enables businesses to model complex, real-world variables and act instantly on data-driven insights.

The launch marks a major step in Qlik’s effort to make predictive analytics more accessible and actionable for enterprise users. MVTS allows teams to analyze multiple interdependent factors—such as pricing, weather, supply constraints, and promotions—simultaneously, delivering more accurate forecasts than traditional single-variable tools.

“In volatile markets, forecasting is capital allocation,” said Brendan Grady, Executive Vice President and General Manager of Qlik’s Analytics Business Unit. “Multivariate Time Series in Qlik Predict lets teams model how real-world factors interact and explain results in plain business terms.”

Alongside MVTS, Qlik announced that its WriteTable feature is slated for general availability in December 2025. WriteTable allows users to operationalize AI forecasts directly within Qlik by updating orders, staffing, or pricing data and triggering automated downstream actions without leaving the platform.

Qlik executives say the pairing of MVTS and WriteTable allows organizations to not only predict outcomes but also act on them within governed enterprise workflows. “With WriteTable, insights become governed changes to orders, staffing and pricing,” said Alexander Engel, Head of Business Intelligence at SLA Software Logistik Artland. “This is how you reduce execution risk and move faster.”

The capabilities are expected to have immediate impact across sectors, from inventory optimization and workforce planning to dynamic pricing and customer service management. Built on Qlik’s end-to-end data and analytics platform, the tools leverage real-time data integration, lineage tracking, and governance controls to deliver predictive AI at enterprise scale.

Qlik said MVTS in Qlik Predict is available now within Qlik Cloud, with existing customers able to enable the feature in current workspaces.
