WILMINGTON, DE — PULPO WMS has released a new 3PL billing software module aimed at helping logistics providers automate recurring client invoicing and reduce manual month-end processes, the company announced.
The cloud-based warehouse management software provider said the tool is designed to address billing complexity in third-party logistics environments, where multiple merchants, service variations and contract-specific rates can complicate invoicing.
Citing 2024 accounts payable research, the company said 52% of professionals reported spending more than 10 hours per week processing invoices and 60% reported manually entering data into ERP or accounting systems.
PULPO said the new workflow centralizes inbound, warehousing and outbound billing logic in a single system. The software includes merchant-specific templates for recurring billing cycles and generates monthly reports to support invoicing and accounting.
Founder Thomas Kircheis said many 3PL teams face fragmented billing processes across warehouses and clients. “With this upgrade we make sure that there are no discussions regarding the services that were provided and the invoice value,” he said, adding that the system is intended to help operators automate billing management in a structured and repeatable way.
According to the company, the release supports billing logic tied to more than 55 warehouse activities and is designed to provide a traceable model intended to reduce manual reconciliation between warehouse, operations and finance teams.
PULPO WMS provides cloud-based warehouse management software for e-commerce, traditional retail and 3PL operations, including receiving, picking, packing and fulfillment functions.
