PHILADELPHIA, PA — Proscia completed its SOC 2 Type II audit, marking a major milestone in the company’s push to become the preferred digital pathology partner for life sciences organizations and diagnostic laboratories. The certification caps a year in which Proscia recorded an industry-leading number of enterprise go-lives on its Concentriq AI platform.
SOC 2 Type II, administered by the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, is considered a gold standard for evaluating security, availability and confidentiality controls. Proscia’s approval confirms that its safeguards have been independently validated over an extended period, strengthening its compliance posture alongside existing ISO 27001 information security and ISO 13485 medical device quality certifications.
“Security is non-negotiable for Proscia and our customers,” said Coleman Stavish, the company’s chief technology officer. He said the audit result reinforces the operational rigor required to support patient-centered, mission-critical workflows across research and clinical environments.
Proscia’s Concentriq AI platform spans the pathology value chain—from drug discovery through routine diagnostics—and is used by 16 of the world’s 20 largest pharmaceutical companies. Major laboratories are on pace to generate more than 8 million diagnoses on the platform this year, underscoring growing demand for scalable digital infrastructure in pathology.
The company said its expanding security credentials complement its momentum in enterprise deployments. Concentriq now integrates bidirectionally with more than 100 laboratory information system environments, including Epic Beaker, CoPath, NovoPath, LigoLab and Orchard Harvest. Its precision-medicine portfolio incorporates over 125 AI applications that plug directly into customer workflows.
Delivered as a SaaS platform on Amazon Web Services, Concentriq leverages cloud-native security, elastic scalability and storage optimization, including integrations with AWS HealthImaging for petabyte-scale slide management. Proscia also provides around-the-clock customer support to maintain diagnostic uptime and meet the turnaround pressures of high-volume clinical laboratories.
Proscia said the SOC 2 Type II certification serves as a foundation for further scale as digital pathology adoption accelerates globally.
