Prepare for Delays on Route 232 in Northampton Township This July

Traffic Advisory

NORTHAMPTON TWP, PA — The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) has announced scheduled roadwork on Route 232 (2nd Street Pike) in Northampton Township, Bucks County, as part of a local safety improvement project set to continue throughout July.

From Tuesday, July 1, to Thursday, July 31, periodic lane closures will occur on weekdays from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM. The lane closures will affect the stretch of Route 232 between Tanyard Road and Upper Holland Road, allowing crews to perform excavation, conduit installation, and slab work.

Motorists are urged to plan for possible backups and delays when traveling through the work zone during the construction period. PennDOT advises drivers to allow extra travel time and exercise caution when navigating the area. All scheduling is weather dependent.
