Phreesia, Sesame Workshop Win Award for Pediatric Health Campaign

Phreesia

WILMINGTON, DE — Phreesia and Sesame Workshop received the Point of Care Excellence Award for a pediatric health and wellness campaign, the organizations announced following the Point of Care Marketing Association’s POC Now Summit held March 18.

The award recognizes campaigns and strategies that advance patient and healthcare provider engagement through point-of-care marketing.

The campaign is part of a five-year collaboration launched in August 2025, with a six-part initiative introduced in October to engage parents and caregivers during pediatric visits.

The program delivers educational content on topics including emotional wellbeing, hygiene, and physical activity, using characters from Sesame Street.

According to the organizations, about 64% of participants said the content was very helpful, and 91% reported the information was easy to understand.

The campaign is delivered during patient check-in, when families are preparing for pediatric appointments.

Phreesia provides the platform for delivering targeted health content, while Sesame Workshop develops educational materials based on research and expert input.

David Linetsky, Phreesia’s president of network solutions, said the collaboration focuses on improving communication with families during healthcare visits.

“This is an opportunity to deliver on Phreesia’s mission, making care easier every day,” Linetsky said.

The organizations said the initiative aims to improve awareness of pediatric health topics and support stronger relationships between families and healthcare providers.
