WILMINGTON, DE — Phreesia Network Solutions announced the launch of ProviderConnect, a new platform designed to help healthcare marketers reach clinicians with targeted information before patient visits.
The company said the tool is intended to allow life sciences companies and other healthcare organizations to engage healthcare providers based on the types of cases they are likely to encounter in upcoming appointments.
ProviderConnect focuses on delivering information to clinicians before patient visits so they can review treatment options and other resources in advance, according to the company.
“As a clinician, keeping up with the pace of medical advances—and applying new information in real time during increasingly short appointments—is incredibly challenging,” said Dr. Alicia Cowley, medical director at Phreesia Network Solutions.
Cowley said the platform is designed to provide clinicians with information before patient visits to help them recognize less common conditions, review treatment options and address issues such as side effects and treatment costs.
The new offering builds on Phreesia Network Solutions’ PatientConnect platform, which the company said is used by major pharmaceutical manufacturers to reach patients before medical appointments.
The company said ProviderConnect uses data signals related to patient care activity rather than relying solely on engagement or marketing data.
“ProviderConnect is a tool that allows marketers to reach providers with key information at a more relevant time,” said David Linetsky, president of Phreesia Network Solutions.
Phreesia said the platform is designed to align with industry measurement practices and includes privacy safeguards.
Phreesia, founded in 2005, develops digital tools used by healthcare providers and life sciences companies to support patient engagement.
The company said its technology supported about 170 million patient visits in 2024, representing roughly one in seven visits across the United States.
