PHILADELPHIA, PA — Northern Liberties and Fishtown are teaming up to launch Philadelphia’s first-ever Dry January Bar Crawl, a two-day, neighborhood-wide celebration that puts creative mocktails and zero-proof cocktails front and center without sacrificing the city’s legendary bar culture.
The inaugural Northern Liberties & Fishtown Dry January Bar Crawl will take place Saturday, January 17, and Sunday, January 18, 2026, featuring more than two dozen participating bars, restaurants, breweries, wineries, and distilleries across both neighborhoods. Each venue will offer specially priced non-alcoholic drinks — including mocktails and zero-proof cocktails — along with Dry January–friendly happy hours running roughly from late morning through early evening.
Organizers said the crawl is designed to let guests explore both walkable neighborhoods at their own pace, with no tickets, wristbands, or check-ins required, while discovering how far Philadelphia’s non-alcoholic beverage scene has evolved.
“We are excited to kick off 2026 with our close friends in Fishtown for a post-holiday reset,” said Sydney Rexroad, executive director of the Northern Liberties Business Improvement District. “The Dry January Crawl features non-alcoholic drinks from some of the best bars and restaurants in Philadelphia. It’s a great opportunity to see a different side of creativity from your favorite spots.”
Marc D. Collazzo, executive director of the Fishtown District, called the crawl a citywide first that blends wellness and hospitality in two of Philadelphia’s hottest dining and nightlife hubs.
“This is the perfect way to start 2026 and reset after holiday indulgence with the dynamic drink creations from the best restaurants and taverns in the region,” Collazzo said. “Come join us to sip, savor and smile.”
Participating locations will offer at least one happy-hour-priced non-alcoholic drink, with many options available for $6, $8, and $10. Some venues will also feature premium zero-proof cocktails, food pairings, games, pop-ups, or special wellness-inspired menu items.
Bar Palmina, Philadelphia’s only dedicated zero-proof craft cocktail bar, will be among the featured stops. Founder and owner Nikki Graziano said the event highlights a growing shift in how hospitality treats non-drinkers.
“Mocktails are made from syrups, juices, and soda at zero alcohol, while zero-proof cocktails use non-alcoholic spirits and bitters that mimic traditional drinks,” Graziano said. “Providing thoughtful non-alcoholic options is simply good hospitality.”

The event is presented by the Northern Liberties Business Improvement District and the Fishtown District with promotional partner Aversa PR & Events, aiming not only to celebrate Dry January but to encourage year-round awareness of Philadelphia’s expanding zero-proof scene.
The crawl will run both days from approximately 11:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., with staggered offerings across Northern Liberties and Fishtown, inviting guests to chart their own path through dozens of alcohol-free drink creations in two of the city’s most vibrant neighborhoods.
