PHILADELPHIA, PA — The Philadelphia Marketplace is set to make a vibrant return to Dilworth Park, running every Friday and Saturday from September 5 through September 27, 2025. Organized in partnership with the Center City District, the weekly outdoor market will showcase a rotating lineup of up to 20 local vendors, featuring artisans, designers, and small businesses from Philadelphia and the broader tri-state region.
Visitors can expect an ever-changing selection of handmade goods, including art, jewelry, candles, home décor, skincare products, and specialty foods. With vendors rotating throughout the month, each weekend offers a unique shopping experience. Popular returning names include Fairy Greens, Kurious Stitches, Moss and Canvas, Lily Lough Jewelry, and Candaces Canvasses, alongside dozens of new and emerging makers.
“The Philadelphia Marketplace is a fantastic way to enjoy the last weeks of summer and early fall while discovering incredible local creativity right in the heart of Center City,” said event organizer Thomas Bauer.
A Platform for Small Businesses
The Marketplace serves as a launchpad for regional makers, offering exposure to a steady flow of visitors in one of Philadelphia’s busiest locations. Among the featured vendors are:
- Aura Adornments – candy-inspired jewelry and mosaic flower pots
- BK Ceramics – handmade ceramics
- Fairy Greens – lavender bouquets, candles, and artisan soaps
- Lily Lough Jewelry – gold and silver fashion jewelry
- Moss and Canvas – moss-inspired art, mirrors, and frames
- PhillySHARED – curated items from small and BIPOC-owned businesses
With offerings ranging from curated home décor to Philadelphia-themed apparel and locally sourced honey, the Marketplace connects consumers directly with local creators while encouraging community engagement.
A Seasonal Destination
Running Fridays and Saturdays from 12 p.m. to 6 p.m., the event invites downtown workers, weekend visitors, and residents to explore an evolving lineup of local talent. Located on the west side of City Hall at 1 S. 15th Street, Dilworth Park provides a central, accessible hub for shoppers and vendors alike.
Beyond September, visitors can look forward to additional seasonal events organized by Made in Philadelphia, including the Fall Market Weekend from October 10–12 and the Holiday Market, set to return November 14.
With its rotating vendor base, prime location, and focus on supporting small businesses, the Philadelphia Marketplace continues to be a centerpiece of the city’s cultural and economic activity each fall.
