Philadelphia Firm Wins Global KLAS Honor for Digital Pathology Platform

Proscia

PHILADELPHIA, PA — Proscia has been named Global 2026 Best in KLAS for Digital Pathology in Europe, earning one of the healthcare technology sector’s most closely watched distinctions based entirely on customer feedback.

The award recognizes Proscia’s Concentriq platform as a trusted enterprise system for digital pathology, used by laboratories to support diagnoses that directly guide patient care. Best in KLAS rankings are determined through evaluations from thousands of healthcare providers and payers worldwide, measuring performance across product quality, operations, loyalty, relationships, value, and company culture.

“The Best in KLAS awards recognize the vendors who consistently deliver excellence through partnership with healthcare organizations,” said Adam Gale, CEO of KLAS Research. “Winning this award means customers trust you to help them succeed in our rapidly changing healthcare landscape.”

Customer interviews conducted by KLAS highlighted Concentriq’s usability, workflow integration, and performance in primary diagnosis settings. One laboratory director told KLAS the platform is “intuitive, well integrated into our workflow, and fast,” while another cited Proscia’s “easy and open communication” and responsiveness in delivering requested features.

That confidence translated into unanimous customer loyalty, according to KLAS findings, with all surveyed customers reporting they would purchase Concentriq again and plan to continue using it long term.

Concentriq is designed to operate at enterprise scale, centralizing pathology data across health systems and laboratory networks. Proscia said the platform integrates with more than 15 laboratory information systems, including Epic Beaker, and functions as an open hub for third-party artificial intelligence applications across a range of tissue types and diagnostic use cases.

A physician interviewed by KLAS pointed to that flexibility, saying the platform’s openness was a key differentiator, while another director described Concentriq as “an optimal solution that integrates perfectly with the laboratory information system that we use.”

David West, Proscia’s chief executive officer, said the recognition reflects years of collaboration with frontline medical teams.

“Best in KLAS is meaningful because it comes directly from our customers,” West said. “We built Concentriq for pathologists and laboratory teams on the front lines of medicine. Their trust in Concentriq for primary diagnosis at enterprise scale and their confidence in Proscia as a partner are the validation that matters.”

KLAS Research conducts its annual rankings through direct customer interviews and surveys, positioning the awards as a barometer of real-world performance rather than vendor self-reporting.
