Penn Entertainment

WYOMISSING, PA — PENN Entertainment (Nasdaq: PENN) expects to open a new 203-room hotel tower at Hollywood Casino Columbus on June 12, pending customary regulatory approvals, expanding the property’s lodging, dining, meeting, and gaming offerings, the company announced.

The 150,000-square-foot tower will add 183 standard rooms and 20 luxury suites to the Columbus property, along with a full-service bar and restaurant called The Hill Eatery & Lounge, conference rooms, a fitness center, and an outdoor seating terrace.

Guests will be able to begin booking rooms on April 15 through the Hollywood Casino Columbus website. More information is available at www.hollywoodcolumbus.com.

PENN said the hotel project is expected to create about 100 new jobs on the west side of Columbus.

Hollywood Casino Columbus will hold job fairs for hotel staff positions on March 27 and April 10, according to the company.

“We’re thrilled to officially announce the opening date for our new hotel at Columbus,” PENN CEO and President Jay Snowden said in a statement. He said the project is part of a broader run of retail development projects that also includes a new casino in Joliet and a second hotel tower at the M Resort.

The property plans to mark the opening on June 12 with outdoor festival and concert events.

In addition to the hotel, Hollywood Casino Columbus also expects to add an expanded high-limit table games room in the second half of 2026, also pending regulatory approvals.

The Columbus hotel tower will be the third of PENN’s previously announced growth projects to be completed, the company said.

PENN opened a new land-based casino in Joliet and a new hotel tower at M Resort Spa Casino Las Vegas in 2025.
