WYOMISSING, PA — PENN Entertainment, Inc. (Nasdaq: PENN) has appointed Ronnie Jones, former chair of the Louisiana Gaming Control Board (LGCB), as an independent member of its Compliance Committee. The company’s Board of Directors formally approved the appointment, reinforcing PENN’s ongoing commitment to regulatory compliance and integrity in the gaming industry.

Jones brings decades of experience in public service and regulatory oversight, including a seven-year tenure as chair of the LGCB from 2013 to 2020. Over his 45-year career, Jones also served more than 30 years with the Louisiana State Police. As LGCB chair, he oversaw gaming operations across Louisiana, including riverboat casinos, racetrack slot venues, and over 2,000 video poker establishments.

Under his leadership, the LGCB advanced regulatory practices and built a framework that helped support legislative approval for sports betting in Louisiana, which was legalized in 2022. In recognition of his contributions, Jones was named North American Regulator of the Year in 2017 by the International Masters of Gaming Law.

“Ronnie is a well-respected leader in the regulated gaming space,” said Jay Snowden, CEO and President of PENN Entertainment. “His wealth of industry experience will be an asset to the important work of the committee, which is central to our longstanding commitment to gaming industry compliance and integrity.”

Jones joins a compliance committee chaired by Thomas N. Auriemma, also an independent non-director, alongside recently elected board members Johnny Hartnett and Carlos Ruisanchez. With this appointment, PENN aims to further strengthen its governance practices as it navigates an increasingly complex regulatory environment driven by continued expansion in online and retail gaming.
