BENSALEM, PA — Parx Casino opened the Parxview Hotel in Bensalem this week, adding a new lodging option adjacent to its gaming and entertainment complex in Bucks County.
Local officials, including Bensalem Mayor Joseph DiGirolamo, participated in a ribbon-cutting ceremony marking the opening, which follows a full renovation of the property.
The hotel features 160 guest rooms, including 16 suites, and is located next to Parx Casino, about 20 minutes from Center City Philadelphia.
Parx officials said the hotel is designed as a smoke-free facility and aims to support overnight stays tied to casino gaming, dining, and live entertainment.
Guests have access to amenities including a fitness center, seasonal outdoor pool, on-site dining at The Bistro, complimentary parking, and shuttle service between the hotel and casino.
Paul Bencivengo, president and CEO of Visit Bucks County, said the addition of the hotel is expected to support tourism and employment in the region.
“It adds a new property to the region, attracting visitors to stay in Bucks County and helping to support local jobs,” Bencivengo said.
Eric Hausler, CEO of Parx Casino, said the hotel allows the property to operate as a full-service destination.
“This hotel transforms Parx into a true overnight destination,” Hausler said.
Parx Casino, owned and operated by Greenwood Racing Inc., includes more than 180,000 square feet of gaming space with approximately 3,000 slot machines, 148 table games, and 48 poker tables.
The property also offers live horse racing, dining, nightlife, and entertainment at the Xcite Center, as well as retail and online sports betting under the betPARX brand.
State officials have said the opening comes as Pennsylvania prepares for increased tourism tied to upcoming national events, including the America 250 celebration.
