PAELA Names Rothkoff Attorney Richard Newman 2026 Member of Year

DOYLESTOWN, PA — The Pennsylvania Association of Elder Law Attorneys has named Richard L. Newman, an attorney with Rothkoff Law Group, as its 2026 Member of the Year, recognizing his contributions to elder law and advocacy for older adults and individuals with special needs.

The organization announced the award, citing Newman’s more than 20 years of experience in elder law and his involvement in professional leadership within the association.

Newman currently serves as president-elect and program chair of PAELA, roles that include helping guide the organization’s educational programming and member initiatives.

“The Pennsylvania Association of Elder Law Attorneys consists of the most dedicated and knowledgeable elder law practitioners in the Commonwealth,” Newman said. “To be recognized as the 2026 PAELA Member of the Year is extraordinarily meaningful to me.”

Rothkoff Law Group Managing Partner Bryan J. Adler said the recognition reflects Newman’s work in both legal practice and professional leadership.

“His leadership within PAELA and his dedication to improving the lives of older adults and their families make him deserving of this honor,” Adler said.
