BUCKS COUNTY, PA — The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) announced that overnight bridge deck sealing will take place next week on U.S. 1 as part of a $116 million project to reconstruct, widen, and improve a three-mile stretch in Bensalem and Middletown townships.
From Sunday, September 28, through Friday, October 3, lane closures will be in effect nightly from 8:00 PM to 6:00 AM between Fairhill Avenue and the Route 132 (Street Road) Interchange.
Motorists should allow extra time when traveling through the area, as delays and backups are expected.
