PHILADELPHIA, PA — The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) announced nighttime lane closures next week on I-95 in Northeast Philadelphia for bridge deck repairs and barrier installation.

From Monday, October 13, through Friday, October 17, lane closures will be in place nightly from 9:00 PM to 5:00 AM on both northbound and southbound I-95 between the Allegheny Avenue and Cottman Avenue (Route 73) interchanges.

The work is part of PennDOT’s $355.3 million I-95/BR3 project to widen and reconstruct the interstate between Wheatsheaf Lane and north of Margaret Street.
