CHICHESTER TWP, PA — The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) announced that utility construction will take place next week on Route 452 (Market Street) in Upper Chichester Township as part of a larger highway improvement project.
From Monday, September 22, through Thursday, September 25, lane closures with flagging will be in place overnight from 7:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m. at the Bethel Avenue intersection. Drivers are advised to expect delays and allow extra time when traveling through the area. All work is weather dependent.
The utility work is tied to PennDOT’s $99.4 million project to widen and reconstruct a 1.4-mile stretch of U.S. 322 (Conchester Highway) in Upper Chichester Township, Delaware County.
