MONTGOMERY COUNTY, PA — The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) has announced that traffic camera installation will take place next week on U.S. 422, affecting multiple sections across Montgomery County.
From Monday, July 7, through Friday, July 11, periodic lane closures are scheduled each night from 7:00 PM to 5:00 AM in both directions between the Armand Hammer Boulevard and Route 63 (Trooper Road) interchanges. Drivers should anticipate delays and allow extra travel time, as congestion is likely during these hours. All work is weather dependent.
This camera installation is a component of PennDOT’s broader $83.6 million project to reconstruct and enhance a 2.1-mile segment of U.S. 422. The initiative also includes replacing bridges between the Sanatoga Interchange and Porter Road in Lower Pottsgrove Township.
