MIDDLETOWN TWP, PA — The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) has announced nighttime bridge repair work along I-295 in Bucks County. The project will require lane closures over two nights, affecting both eastbound and westbound traffic near U.S. 1.
On Monday, March 31, and Tuesday, April 1, a single lane closure will be in place from 9:00 PM to 12:00 AM. This will be followed by a double lane closure from 12:00 AM to 5:00 AM. These repairs are part of ongoing efforts to maintain and improve infrastructure safety.
PennDOT has urged motorists to plan for possible delays and allow extra time for travel through the affected area during the overnight hours. Drivers are also encouraged to exercise caution when navigating the work zone.
All scheduled operations depend on favorable weather conditions and may be adjusted as necessary.
