Overnight Lane Closures Ahead on U.S. 1 in Bucks County

BUCKS COUNTY, PA — Motorists traveling through Bensalem and Middletown townships should prepare for overnight and daytime lane closures on U.S. 1 and Rockhill Drive next week as part of PennDOT’s $116 million project to reconstruct and widen a three-mile stretch of the highway.

From Sunday, October 19, through Friday, October 24, lane closures will occur nightly from 8:00 PM to 6:00 AM on U.S. 1 in both directions between Fairhill Avenue and the Route 132 (Street Road) Interchange. Additionally, from Monday, October 20, through Friday, October 24, a daytime lane closure will be in place from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM on eastbound Rockhill Drive between Horizon Boulevard and Neshaminy Boulevard.

Drivers should expect backups and delays and are urged to allow extra travel time. All work is weather dependent.
