MILFORD TOWNSHIP, PA — The Pennsylvania Turnpike Commission has announced overnight closures on Kumry Road in Milford Township, Bucks County, to accommodate bridge construction work authorized under a PennDOT Highway Occupancy Permit.
The closures will occur Thursday, July 24; Friday, July 25; Tuesday, July 29; and Wednesday, July 30, from 7:00 PM to 5:00 AM the following morning. During these periods, Kumry Road will be closed between Rosenberger Road and Walnut Lane.
Passenger vehicles will follow a detour using Allentown Road, Route 663 (John Fries Highway), and Krammes Road. A separate detour for large trucks will route traffic along Main Street, Broad Street, Tollgate Road, Route 309 (West End Boulevard), and Route 663. Local access will be maintained up to the construction zone.
Motorists are advised to expect delays and plan for additional travel time. All work is weather dependent. The construction is part of ongoing efforts to maintain infrastructure and ensure safe travel in the region.
