FORT WASHINGTON, PA — Office Practicum has launched Pediatric Benchmarking, a new data-driven tool built on one of the most extensive pediatric datasets in the country, designed to give practices sharper insights into performance.
Unlike industry benchmarks such as MGMA, which aggregate data from multiple specialties, Pediatric Benchmarking draws exclusively from pediatric practices, offering targeted, reliable comparisons.
“As a benchmarking tool built exclusively with pediatric-specific data, this new capability gives pediatric practices meaningful insights they have never had before,” said Gretch Ellis, Chief Product Officer at Office Practicum.
The platform extends the company’s Practice Analytics suite with national data updated daily and key performance indicators on receivables, payments, scheduling, and revenue. Practices can filter results by state, payer type, and provider count for more precise comparisons.
Matt Tadros, Product Director of Practice Management & RCM Technologies, said the new tool was a natural evolution. “Pediatric Benchmarking was the next logical step — letting practices measure themselves against peers using pediatric-specific KPIs, not broad, unrelated industry averages.”
With visual dashboards and customizable views, Pediatric Benchmarking allows practices to identify strengths, flag underperforming areas, and support better financial, diagnostic, and staffing decisions.
“Generic benchmarks can leave pediatric practices guessing,” Ellis added. “With Pediatric Benchmarking, that guesswork is gone.”
