DELAWARE COUNTY, PA — Because Organization, a nonprofit dedicated to helping survivors of human trafficking, is inviting community members, supporters, and sponsors to participate in its upcoming “BECAUSE…Survivors Deserve More” Virtual Walk/Run this fall. The event will run from October 26 to November 9, bringing together advocates, survivors, and supporters nationwide in a collective effort to restore hope and offer trauma-informed care to those affected by human trafficking.
This virtual walk/run is more than just a race; it is a statement of solidarity and a call to action. Participants can run or walk at their own pace and from their own location, making it easy for anyone to get involved. Every step taken and every dollar raised will support the organization’s ongoing mission to provide consistent, reliable help for those affected by human trafficking.
“We believe that every survivor deserves more support, more resources, and more opportunities for healing,” said Marcia Holt, CEO of Because Organization. “By joining our event or becoming a sponsor, you are making a powerful statement that survivors matter and that together, we can make a difference.”
Because Organization is a registered 501(c)(3) charitable nonprofit, it ensures that all donations are tax-deductible and directly support its mission. Sponsors will not only strengthen their brand but also show a commitment to safety, healing, and a hopeful future for survivors.
The virtual event allows participants to join from anywhere. Registration and donation details can be found on the event’s official page at https://runsignup.com/Race/PA/Media/BecauseSurvivorsDeserveMoreVirtualWalkRun.
