LANCASTER COUNTY, PA — The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) announced that concrete patching and spall repairs will begin Sunday, October 26, on Route 283 between Esbenshade Road in Rapho Township and State Road (Route 722) in East Hempfield Township.
Work will take place nightly from 7:00 PM to 6:00 AM through Thursday, October 30, and continue Monday through Thursday nights for about three additional weeks. Sunday nights will be reserved for weather delays. One lane of traffic will remain open in each direction while repairs are underway.
PennDOT advises motorists to remain alert and use caution when driving through the work zone. All activities are weather dependent.
