The project includes milling and overlaying travel lanes, repairing 49 structures, stabilizing rock slopes, replacing drainage inlets, upgrading guiderails and signage, installing Intelligent Transportation Systems (ITS) enhancements, and improving stormwater management basins.

H&K Group, Inc., of Skippack, is managing the project, which is fully funded by federal dollars. PennDOT advises motorists to expect delays and allow additional travel time when passing through the affected areas. All activities are weather dependent.
