Traffic alert, expect delays

WEST CONSHOHOCKEN, PA — The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) announced that overnight bridge repair work will take place next week on multiple ramps connecting I-476 and U.S. 1 as part of a $63.7 million resurfacing and improvement project.

From Monday, October 20, through Friday, October 31, lane closures will occur nightly from 8:00 PM to 5:00 AM on ramp roadways at the Exit 5 Interchange in Marple Township for bridge superstructure repairs.

The long-term project will repair 49 bridges, improve drainage and slope stability, and resurface nearly 17 miles of roadway from I-76 in Montgomery County to I-95 in Delaware County. Work is expected to finish in late 2025.
