NEW HOPE, PA — The Greater New Hope Chamber of Commerce and Visit New Hope announced the return of the New Hope Summer Series, starting today, May 16, and running every first Friday through September, with July’s event set for July 11. This annual celebration features stunning fireworks displays, synchronized drone light shows, and block parties that promise food, music, and family-friendly entertainment.
The festivities kick off today, coinciding with New Hope Celebrates Pride Week. The opening night includes a fireworks and drone show at approximately 9:10 PM and a block party on Stockton Avenue, which will be pedestrian-only from 2 PM to 9 PM. The block party, open from 5 PM to 9 PM, will feature live music, local vendors, and street dining provided by New Hope’s Italian Cucina. Visitors are encouraged to bring a Bluetooth speaker, download the Pyrocast app (code F683), and enjoy synchronized soundtracks during the show.
“This year’s New Hope Summer Series is about creating extraordinary memories for both locals and visitors,” said Michael Sklar, President of the Greater New Hope Chamber of Commerce. “The addition of a season-long drone show adds a modern twist to our already beloved fireworks displays. This initiative not only enhances the experience for over 10,000 visitors each event night but also supports local businesses and artists.”
The series continues with shows on June 6, July 11, August 1, and September 5, with start times announced closer to each date. Guests can explore artisan vendors, live art demos by New Hope Arts, and shop at local businesses, all while enjoying vibrant live music. Vendors for the May event include Kona Ice, Freitag Art, Kitty Couture, and more. Vendor lists and entertainment lineups for future dates will be revealed as the summer progresses.
Street closures on Stockton Avenue between Bridge and Ferry Streets begin at 2 PM on event days. Visitors arriving for the block party, fireworks, or drone show are encouraged to park at New Hope-Solebury High School or Union Square, where some lots may charge a small fee.
New Hope’s Summer Series enriches the town’s reputation as a premier Bucks County destination, blending small-town charm with a robust summer events calendar. Rain or shine, the celebrations offer something for everyone and are free to attend.
For those extending their visit, New Hope boasts a variety of boutique hotels, quaint inns, and dining options to complete an unforgettable summer outing.
