PHILADELPHIA, PA & CHICAGO, IL — Fidem Financial has partnered with Transformco and Shop Your Way® to relaunch the Shop Your Way® 5321 Visa Credit Card®, a redesigned co-branded offering built around a simple, high-yield rewards structure. The new card, which opens for applications in mid-November, introduces a 5%–3%–2%–1% rewards model targeting everyday spending categories that consumers use most.
The announcement marks the first rollout under Fidem’s new co-brand issuance framework — a model that integrates a partner’s loyalty ecosystem directly into the card program to reduce issuance costs and deliver higher-value rewards. Executives say the approach streamlines the financial supply chain so more rewards flow to cardholders rather than traditional intermediaries.
The refreshed card offers 5% back in Shop Your Way® points on eligible gas, EV charging, and transportation, including rideshare, transit, tolls, parking, and car washes. Cardholders earn 3% back on dining, groceries, and travel; 2% back across the Shop Your Way® merchant network; and 1% back on all other Visa® purchases.
Shop Your Way®, which engages more than four million active members, has distributed over $3.3 billion in rewards since its 2009 launch. Points can be redeemed instantly across its expanding partner network.
Transformco executive B.J. Naedele said the new card is designed to move away from restrictive, rotating, or capped categories that have frustrated consumers. He emphasized that the goal is long-term, predictable value tied to real-world spending habits.
For Fidem, the partnership represents a proving ground for a co-brand strategy built around faster launches and improved economics for brands. CEO Sanji Gunawardena said the integrated platform will support additional partnerships already in development.
Consumers can join the pre-launch waitlist through ShopYourWay.com or the Shop Your Way® mobile app. Approved applicants will receive a digital card that can be added immediately to mobile wallets and leading digital payment systems.
