KING OF PRUSSIA, PA — Two of the country’s leading professional associations for equity, safety, and compliance announced a sweeping lineup of training opportunities for 2026, aiming to strengthen the nation’s Title IX and behavioral intervention infrastructure at a time when schools and workplaces face heightened expectations around civil rights compliance and student support.
The Association of Title IX Administrators (ATIXA) and the National Association for Behavioral Intervention and Threat Assessment (NABITA) released a full-year schedule featuring in-person symposia, joint national conferences, and monthly virtual “Focus Weeks” designed to provide deep, topic-driven development for K–12 districts, higher education institutions, and organizational leaders.
“Our 2026 training schedule highlights the breadth and depth of support we offer to schools, colleges, workplaces, and organizations, equipping practitioners to build safer, more equitable communities,” said Makenzie Schiemann, Partner at TNG and President of NABITA.
Saundra K. Schuster, Partner at TNG and President of ATIXA, noted that the organizations designed the calendar to meet the varying needs of professionals nationwide. “Through virtual focus weeks, in-person trainings, and our annual joint conference, we strive to make it easier for professionals to ensure best practices,” she said. “Our collaborative events help to sharpen skills and strengthen networks, both locally and beyond.”

ATIXA, which supports more than 19,000 active members across educational institutions and organizations, remains one of the most widely used resources for Title IX coordinators and investigators. The association has issued over 75,000 certifications and continues to serve as a national hub for model policies, professional training, and emerging best practices.
With both organizations expanding their reach, the 2026 calendar reflects a growing national focus on ensuring institutions have the skills, structures, and support required to manage civil rights obligations, behavioral risk, and community safety in an increasingly complex environment.
