National Philanthropic Trust Names Tom Brilli as First Chief Product Officer to Drive Innovation

JENKINTOWN, PA — National Philanthropic Trust (NPT) has appointed Tom Brilli as its inaugural Chief Product Officer (CPO), a newly created role aimed at advancing innovation in donor-advised funds and enhancing the organization’s overall philanthropic impact.

Brilli will lead NPT’s product management team, focusing on developing new solutions that improve donor experiences and strengthen the organization’s position as a leader in the charitable giving sector. “Establishing a dedicated CPO role reflects our commitment to innovation and delivering impactful solutions for the communities and donors we serve,” said Holly Welch Stubbing, NPT’s president and CEO.

Brilli joins NPT from J.P. Morgan, where he served as Executive Director and Head of Donor-Advised Funds, overseeing the program across multiple business lines. He also led regulatory implementations tied to the Dodd-Frank Act and managed product development for institutional clients in the U.S. and Latin America.

“When NPT announced this new position, I knew it was the chance of a lifetime to help evolve the impact of donor-advised funds and philanthropy overall for the benefit of donors and grantees alike,” Brilli said.

Prior to his tenure at J.P. Morgan, Brilli held senior roles at Sapient Global Markets, Jefferies, and Deutsche Bank. He holds a Bachelor of Science from Fairfield University and an MBA from Pace University.
