PORTO, Portugal & WILMINGTON, DE — Naoris Protocol has announced the launch of Naoris Ventures, a new venture arm designed to accelerate the adoption of decentralized, post-quantum security infrastructure across critical global systems.
The new initiative will focus on supporting startups and technology partners developing solutions that enhance resilience, trust, and efficiency in industries where security is essential to stability — including robotics, smart cities, defense, energy, finance, and artificial intelligence.
Naoris Ventures aims to fast-track real-world integration of Naoris’ Sub-Zero Layer, the company’s proprietary post-quantum cybersecurity framework, into the systems that underpin modern economies. The venture arm will provide portfolio companies with access to Naoris’ technical research, engineering expertise, and advanced cybersecurity infrastructure, helping founders scale innovations without compromising security.
“The launch of Naoris Ventures is the latest milestone in what has been a truly breakout year for Naoris, and signals a major step forward in bringing our technology into real-world use,” said David Carvalho, CEO and Founder of Naoris Protocol. “It enables us to integrate the Sub-Zero Layer into the systems that keep economies and societies running, aligning technological progress with trust and security at a truly global scale.”
Regan Melin, Managing Partner of Naoris Ventures, said the initiative will focus on securing the technological foundations of the next industrial era. “By nurturing and accelerating innovation at the intersection of quantum-resistant cryptography and decentralized architectures, Naoris Ventures will play a pivotal role in safeguarding critical global systems against future cyber threats,” Melin said.
The creation of Naoris Ventures follows a series of notable milestones for the company. Last month, Naoris Protocol was cited in a research submission to the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission’s Crypto Assets Task Force as the reference model for quantum-resistant blockchain infrastructure under the Post-Quantum Financial Infrastructure Framework (PQFIF). The submission warned of the existential risk quantum computing poses to global financial systems and named Naoris as a practical model for building quantum-secure networks.
Earlier this year, Naoris raised $3 million in a strategic funding round led by Mason Labs, with participation from Tim Draper, Frekaz Group, Level One Robotics, and Tradecraft Capital.
Naoris Ventures plans to unveil new partnerships, co-developed proof-of-concept projects, and cross-industry collaborations in the coming weeks as it continues to push for broader adoption of quantum-resistant, decentralized security standards.
