Miller’s Smorgasbord Brings Back Artisan Days This October

LANCASTER, PAMiller’s Smorgasbord will host the return of Artisan Days this fall, offering guests the chance to meet local craftspeople, sample handmade goods, and experience Lancaster County’s rich artisan traditions. The events will take place on Saturday, October 4, and Saturday, October 25, from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m. at The Shoppes at Miller’s on Lincoln Highway.

Visitors will find a range of artisans showcasing their work on the Locally Made Food Shop deck, alongside food tastings of locally produced specialties. Inside The Quilt Shop at Miller’s, local quilters will demonstrate hand quilting techniques, connecting guests with one of the region’s most enduring crafts.

The lineup for October 4 includes:

  • Miesse Candies, a Lancaster confectioner since 1875, known for small-batch chocolates and caramels.
  • Handcrafted by Grace, offering infused olive oils, balsamic vinegars, and spice blends.
  • Lancaster County Shirt Co., featuring locally themed apparel.
  • By Candle Light, producing soy-based farmhouse-style candles.
  • The Color Green, showcasing wire-wrapped jewelry with hand-blown glass.

The October 25 event will feature:

  • E&A Candies, specializing in nostalgic sweets like brittle and caramel corn.
  • Pepe Saya, creating artisan butters and cheeses with milk sourced from local Amish farms.
  • Love, Libby Soaps, offering goat milk soaps made with natural oils and botanicals.
  • By Candle Light, returning with handcrafted candles.

Artisan items will be available for purchase throughout Anna’s Gifts & Sundries, the Locally Made Food Shop, and The Quilt Shop at Miller’s, providing visitors with the chance to take home unique pieces of Lancaster County’s culture.
