WRIGHTSTOWN TWP, PA — Drivers in central Bucks County should prepare for daytime detours next week as PennDOT closes a stretch of Mill Creek Road for pipe replacement.

From February 23 through February 27, Mill Creek Road will be closed between Swamp Road and Township Line Road from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM each weekday. The temporary shutdown is required to replace underground piping.

During the closure, motorists will be directed to use Swamp Road, Route 232 (Second Street Pike), Route 413 (Durham Road), and Township Line Road. Drivers should follow posted detour signs and anticipate additional traffic along these alternate routes.

Local access to homes and properties along Mill Creek Road will be maintained, but through traffic must follow the designated detour.

Expect delays during the midday hours, particularly at key intersections along Route 232 and Route 413. Plan extra time for your commute and seek alternate routes if possible to avoid congestion near the work zone.
