Mid Penn Bank Taps Veteran Lender to Expand Philly Commercial Reach

MILLERSBURG, PA — Mid Penn Bank, a wholly owned subsidiary of Mid Penn Bancorp, Inc. (Nasdaq: MPB), has added seasoned commercial banker Chau Huynh as vice president and commercial loan officer, strengthening its push across the greater Philadelphia market.

Huynh will be based at the bank’s New Logan Square office in Philadelphia, where he will support commercial clients throughout the region. He will report to Abe Ibrahim, first senior vice president and regional president, according to the bank.

The appointment brings more than two decades of commercial and business banking experience to Mid Penn, with Huynh known for middle-market relationship management and lending. Most recently, he served as senior middle-market commercial banking relationship manager at Fulton Bank, where he managed and expanded a portfolio of middle-market clients across the Philadelphia area.

Before that, Huynh held commercial and business banking roles at Truist Bank and PNC Bank, focusing on relationship development, portfolio management and tailored lending solutions. Earlier in his career, he worked in retail banking leadership positions at Santander Bank and Citizens Bank.

Mid Penn said Huynh’s deep roots in the Philadelphia region and relationship-driven approach align with the bank’s strategy to grow its commercial presence in one of Pennsylvania’s most competitive banking markets.

Huynh earned a bachelor’s degree in business administration and management from Penn State University and has spent his career serving businesses throughout the greater Philadelphia area.
