RADNOR, PA — McNees Wallace & Nurick has hired construction and real estate attorney Craig Hoogstraten to its Construction Law Group.

Hoogstraten, based in Radnor, brings more than three decades of legal and industry experience in construction and real estate.

His practice focuses on highway and transportation infrastructure projects, advising contractors and stakeholders on construction agreements, risk allocation and regulatory compliance.

He also handles drafting and negotiating construction contracts, project delivery and risk management, and dispute resolution.

In addition, Hoogstraten works on real estate transactions, including acquisitions, development, environmental due diligence and permitting.

His experience includes advising on joint ventures, resolving construction disputes, overseeing commercial acquisitions and ensuring compliance with federal and state regulations, including OSHA and environmental requirements.

Andrew Levy, chair of the firm’s Construction Law Group, said Hoogstraten’s background includes both legal and operational experience in construction.

“He understands the legal issues, but he also understands the operational pressures behind them,” Levy said.

The hire comes as McNees continues to expand its presence in the Philadelphia region.

The firm opened its first office in the region in 2021, relocated to a larger Radnor office in 2025, and recently added a Plymouth Meeting office with a 24-person education law group from Fox Rothschild.
